A One-Day Intensive Hands-On Workshop

If you are an athlete, massage therapist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, personal trainer, physician, coach, or just interested in your own well being, this workshop is for you. Classes will be limited to 24 so that participants will receive valuable attention and assistance.
Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is the cutting edge of specific isolated and stretching exercises. This workshop includes techniques for effective training, injury prevention, and rehabilitation of most muscular and many neurological conditions leading, in most cases, to a pain-free, functional, and harmonious outcome. The shoulder, neck, and elbow/radio-ulnar/wrist/ hand/finger/thumb AIS protocols will be addressed. Whiplash, chronic neck pain; postural correction including: forward head, forward shoulder; rotator cuff; carpal tunnel; tennis/golfer's elbow; TMJ dysfunction; peripheral neuropathy; and others will be discussed . No other modality addresses these conditions more thoroughly or effectively.
James is a certified massage therapist and personal trainer who practices in Rockville, Maryland . He has studied extensively with Aaron Mattes, Registered Kinesiotherapist Licensed Massage Therapist, and developer of AIS. James has worked in Aaron's clinic near Sarasota , FL and has assisted him at fourteen AIS workshops during the past four years. He is an enthusiastic and generous teacher who is committed to participants being able to use these techniques by the end of this comprehensive, hands-on workshop. You'll learn a lot of practical information and have fun too!

This workshop is one of a series of three that when taken together address flexibility and rehabilitation of the entire body. The following discounts will be applied if more than one workshop is taken: two workshops $350.00; three workshops $450.00.
